Turning Japanese...I Really Think So!

What a blast we had at Tracy Gow Photography HQ today, as we created a fashion shoot with an Oriental twist....stylist Eilidh Ellery did a brilliant job of creating some very extraordinary looks with a combination of punk fashion elements and authentic Japanese kimonos. Hair stylist, Lynn Suttie created an amazing "samurai" look for model, Nicole Abbot, whilst MUA Susie Bloice used a pink and black smokey eye effect with a striking white stripe to great effect. As for me, I created some colourful, sheer fabric backdrops to shoot against...the final results are eye popping, but for now, just a couple of getting ready shots...more to follow next week.

Tracy Gow Photography finally gets to grips with Blogging

I am totally new to the world of Blogging, so bear with me while I stumble through this first post.

I've been keen to set up a Blog for a while as I always seem to have a lot to say and share.  For instance, I'm currently wondering whether to include a top quality Fine Art album into the mix of presentation products I offer.  To this end I popped along to the "Flight of the Folio" tour in Glasgow at the weekend and met the man behind Folio Albums, Stewart Randall.  What an interesting and enthusiastic person he is.  The Folio Albums are so beautiful, stunning leather covers as standard and interiors of Fine Art paper, the Art Cotton being one of the most sustainable and environmentally friendly papers out there.  Decisions, decisions....  The trip out was totally worthwhile as there was a great photo op with model Emily and a stack of vintage props....
